What are some of the warning signs of subluxation?

Subluxations can cause pain and muscle spasms. However, most of the time, you will not experience any symptoms until the problem has been around long enough. Often symptoms such as headaches, back pain, neck stiffness, pain in your shoulders, arms or legs, numbness in your hands and feet and various other symptoms can be signs of subluxations.

There are five physiological effects of the subluxation complex:

1. Pain

2. Tenderness

3. Muscle Spasm or Tightness

4. Decreases Range of Motion

5. Temperature Changes

If you have one of more of these findings at a specific vertebral level you have "vertebral subluxation".
